Hi 👋, I’m Ivan Valentini, a Cybersecurity Engineer and Vulnerability Researcher based in Paris, France.

I hold a double joint Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from EURECOM and the University of Trento. For almost the past two years, I worked at H Company as a Cybersecurity Enginner. At H Company, I worder on Fluorite, an open-source frameworks like for distributed enclave applications. I also lead the security team and frequently run internal penetration tests and vulnerability assessments for company products, platforms, and AI systems.

In the past I also worked at Quarkslab, for a 6 month internship about gVisor, the container isolation mechanisms developed by Google and have developed security analysis tools for TLS during my other internship at Fondazione Bruno Kessler.

I have multiple years of experience playing capture the flag competitions focusing on challenges on the topic of web application security, reverse engineering, source code review, and cryptography.

I developed an interest in pentesting thanks to platforms such as HackTheBox and TryHackMe where I learned how to perform red team operations on back box Linux and Windows environments, customizing N-day public exploits and tools, exploiting various types of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, escalating privileges, and developing tools for exploitation.

I love hard challenges, take deep dives in technical topics, constantly learn and stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and defensive strategies.
